If the chain is not forged together you can still grab the blade itself. If not, then face the circumstances:

- Unstable to hold properly.
- The blade won't be stable, impossible to reach opponent with the cutting edge.
- no stabbing.
- cannot protect your wrist while holding
- we won't know how it acts when actually hitting the opponent, where it will be deflected
- cannot block

Nice to craft but I wouldn't use it even if well payed.
